How is the road from San Francisco to Vancouver in Christmas?

I'm planning on driving to Vancouver from San Francisco in Christmas with a few of my friends. I was wondering if it's good idea to drive there in Christmas since it rains a lot in Washington state and Vancouver during the winter. Is the road going to be safe with all the rain and/or snow?

The rain isnt the problem. It's going through the mountain passes in Oregon when there is a blizzard or a lot of snow on the ground. You might need chains or snow tires. Do you mean Vancouver, BC or Washington? That trip is very long around 15 hours to BC with no snow or rain. Seattle and Vancouver BC can get snow. Last winter was mild and they expect more snow this year. You should check the weather cams in all three states plus Canada. I used to drive twice a year from SF to Portland and it took me 10 hours. To Seattle is another 3 hours and Vancouver 3 more.
