Jehovah's Witnesses: If I invited you for a "free Bible study" could I insist we not use NWT or any WTS books?
The Jehovah's Witnesses have invited me to join a "free Bible study." I have a couple of quick questions...
1. Are there some Bible studies that are not free?
2. Could I insist we use the KJV and not the NWT?
3. Since we want to focus on God's word, could we also do this study without the aid of Watchtower material?
Yes! A bible is a bible. I tell my students what ever bible they feel comfortable with is the one we will use.
ALL bible studies are FREE!!! IF you want to donate money, you can, but it is not necessary. They are there to teach you bible truths, not to collect money.
If you don't want to use anything but the bible that is perfect. That is the focus of the study anyway.
