What are the best wheels that I can buy, under £300, for my road/racing bike?
I have a specialized tarmac elite 2009 model and I have been looking for new wheels and the best I have come up with spec wise, and for an ok price is the easton ea70 wheels. Does anybody else have any other sugestions?
See if you can find Mavic Ksyrium SL's for what you want to spend. They have a 200 gram advantage over the Easton EA70's. If the Mavic is too pricey, you should be able to get Dura-Ace/Mavic Open Pro's for less than the Easton's. I think the Easton is a good wheel, I am partial to Mavic. It is a great wheel. Stronger, smoother, faster, and more durable.
