Where can I get a really nice backpack for school?

I have always had my grey Country Road Tote Bag, but I'm getting tired of the shoulder thing, so i am looking for a nice backpack. I saw in General pants the other day this nice denim backpack ( I think it was stussy) but i can't get it cos this two of my friends have it.
Have you got any ideas where to get some from, or if you found a really nice one? It kinda need to be 'durable' too because i carry a lot of books, but also very fashionable.

I bought a Messenger Bag from Chrome back in summer of 2005. Do you have messenger cyclists downtown in your city? We do. Anyway, it's a single strap bag and almost all of them use one of these bags.
I've had it for 4 years now and it's only slightly frayed around the velcro strap, but it's still very durable as the day I bought it.
What made me decide to buy it was the working Seat Belt buckle and strap. Everybody always glances at it when I walk buy them. It's kind of expensive at $140USD, but it's well worth it as it will last you through the years as it has for me. It's definitely unique.

The only complaint I have is the back doesn't breathe if you're wearing it for long periods during hot days,
