All About Your Travelling

Need help deciding on late July-early August vacation... hang at Aruba or Caribbean Cruise?

Single Dad planning annual vacation with 3 teenage children (19 y/o girl,16 y/o boy, 14 y/o girl), who get along great together. Trying decide between going to Aruba and hanging out or taking our first cruise together (7 day cruise... 6 stops @ St Thomas, Dominica, Bridgetown, St Lucia. Antugua, St Kitts). Input please from those who have done both?

I would love to help you plan & book your vacation , so let me give you my professional opinion 1st . Aruba is a great destination to vacation , but it's not the ideal place for a family trip ; I think your kids would enjoy Cancun ( specifically the Riviera Maya - down the coast from Cancun ) , Jamaica or the Bahamas more . these destinations offer much more in terms of activities , sightseeing , broader choice of resorts , and a larger number of families vacation at those destinations , which means more kids to mingle & socialize with . Those destinations also offer the most All Inclusive resorts , which I think would be they way to go for your family in order to keep within a reasonable budget . If you are going to cruise , make sure you book on Carnival because they are the cruise line that is most geared towards families with teen aged children . While at sea the kids will have activities & even a dance club specifically geared towards them to keep them occupied , and again , since many families will be there also , the kids will have plenty of company to mingle with .
